To begin the celebration of our 13th B.A.D. Ride we’ve come up with a contest to get you on your bikes and win some prizes.
The only thing you need to do is find and photograph 5 different objects or locations with the number thirteen. The thirteen may be in either numeral or alphabetical form. Take a digital photograph of you with the object or in the location and bring those five photographs with you to the AMC Theatre area at Interchange Way on Sunday morning May 30th for B.A.D. Ride 13.
When you arrive at the AMC Theatres at Interchange Way that Sunday morning, take your five photographs (they can be either printed or available for viewing on your digital camera) to the Discover 13 Contest table near the registration area. If you have five different photographs with you in or beside an object or location with the number 13 visible, you will receive a unique B.A.D. Ride item.
The contest closes at 10:30 a.m., May 30, 2010.
Do you want to earn an additional prize?! Find and photograph yourself at any one of destinations listed below and use it as one of your five photographs.
You may be required to do some research to locate one or more of these places. They’re all in Southern Ontario.
- Lucky 13 Tattoo shop
- Gallery 1313
- Café 13 Grill
- Muskoka Road 13 sign
- Thirteen Moons Retreat sign (please note: this destination (6th line) is on a hard packed level dirt road in good condition)
- Each photograph must include the contestant.
- Each photograph must include the number 13 in alphabetical or numeral form.
- The contestant must first register as either a rider or passenger for BAD Ride 13.
- You receive one prize if all 5 pictures are different and satisfy the requirements.
- You receive a second prize if one of the 5 pictures is an official Discover 13 Location.
